Support Specialist

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Make a difference at a small company!  Dose Health is looking for an experienced service coordinator with strong communication and time management skills. We are a team of ten, and our support group “pod” is a team of three. The position involves reaching out to clients, waiver case managers, and medication managers to help better serve our high-need Medicaid Waiver population.  

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the clients, families, and case managers that we serve. We value problem-solving, creative thinking, and innovation.  We strive to regularly improve efficiencies to provide better services for our clients through their direct feedback. We welcome your input and experience!

MAJOR DUTIES
Processing incoming service requests, tracking customer records, maintaining up to date correspondence. 
Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions as they come in and suggesting information about other services that might help serve the client better.
Resolve product issues by clarifying the customer’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment.
Work with the team to come up with new processes to improve how tasks are completed and develop solutions for clients to easily access and use our services.
Assist with a variety of projects based on your interest.

OTHER DUTIES
   • Respond to emails in a timely manner
   • Learn new technical skills with on the job training

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
• High school diploma or GED
• Degree from a college/university a plus

Preferred Experience
   • 3+ years in customer service
   • Experience as a case manager, service coordinator or other related fields a plus
   • Proficient computer skills - Google systems preferred
   • Bilingual in English and Somali or Spanish a plus

   • Able to work remotely effectively
   • Effective communication through different mediums (phone, email, chat)
   • Able to actively listen, empathize, and problem solve
   • Able to work as a team player - flexible and dependable
   • Innovative and creative thinking
   • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask

   • Understand/able to quote the best movies (a plus, but not required)
